Zelfira Tregulova

Independent art historian 

In 1984-1997, Ms Tregulova worked at the Vuchetich All-Union Art and Production Association as a coordinator and curator of large-scale exhibitions of Russian art organized abroad, and then as an assistant to the general director. In 1998-2000, she was the Head of the Foreign Relations and Exhibitions Department at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

Ms Tregulova served as a Deputy Director for Exhibitions and International Relations of the Moscow Kremlin Museums for 11 years, since 2002. She took the lead of the ROSIZO State Museum and Exhibition Center in Moscow in 2013.

Zelfira Tregulova served as the Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery from 2015 to 2023.

She is a member of the Council for Culture and Art under the President of Russia. Previously, Ms Tregulova was a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of Russia. She is also a member of the Board of the Russian Cultural Foundation, etc.

Ms Tregulova graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, History of Art Department, in 1977 and completed her postgraduate study at the same university in 1981.
