Our Annual Report 2023 has been published

The key focus of the new Annual Report is transformation. The past few years have been a time of significant change for us, the most impactful of which was our transition to a new financial model. 2023 was the first full calendar year in which the Foundation’s budget was primarily formed by the income from our six endowments.

Overall, we can say that the first stage of the transition period has been successful: we have fulfilled all our obligations to partners and grantees, continued to grow and change, because it is important for us to organize our work in the long run in order to make plans and develop. 
We pay special attention to creating an environment based on transparency, trust and inclusion. We believe that the success of any organization starts with people, so we create conditions for their personal and professional growth. This, in turn, increases the effectiveness of work at all levels: from individual to team and management ones.
I would like to thank each of our colleagues, partners and grantees for their contribution to our common result. Our ability to transform and adapt is the result of the collective, synergistic efforts of the entire Foundation community.  

One of the basic principles of our work is our connection with the community: we maintain constant dialogue with our target audiences, as it is important for us to hear their voices and know their opinions about our work. As part of preparing the report, we spoke with our partners, grantees and winners of the Foundation's competitions, inviting them to share their thoughts on the challenges they face and how they overcome them.

We also reviewed our own activities from the perspective of transformation. Readiness for change, continuous adjustment of competition procedures and the Foundation’s work formats are important elements of our operations. Each year, we introduce something new to the programs and their mechanisms. The innovations of the past year are thoroughly described and explained on the pages of the Annual Report.

Additionally, in the 2023 Report, we are taking a step towards summarizing the Foundation's work over the past 25 years. Next year we plan to comprehensively analyze and summarize the results of our activities over a quarter of a century and present these results to society.
